Our garden has flourished this year & with the addition of a few cut flower beds I have had blooms flowering all season. I love filling different vases & vessels with fresh cut flowers in our home but hate that they don't last. In prep for Autumn I decided to preserve some summer beauty by drying flowers from the garden that have lost their lustre & I won't see again until next Summer. I am new to this but I can honestly say its become an obsession. It's a great way to transition into Autumn & to avoid paying over the odds for shop brought dried flowers.

Good morning friends! I wanted to share my coffee bar today & a few styling tips to help you create your own functional but stylish hot drinks station! Are you a coffee lover like me? This has become an essential space in our home & I love making changes to make it work for us as a family. I want to share how I styled this space & some ideas on how to make it look visually pleasing & workable for your morning routine needs. So lets start with choosing the ideal space for your coffee bar station.

Who else loves thrifting for home decor? Whether it be something I actually need or something that will sit in my garage for months calling out for a make over, I just love finding things that I can transform. I spend a lot of my spare time wandering into charity shops or strolling through car boot sales on a Sunday morning, looking for treasures.

Are you team artificial or team real? I have made it no secret that I am the worlds worst plant lady so I stick firmly to artificial plants in our home with the exception of cut flowers which are a must in the Spring & Summer seasons. Today, spotting the difference between a real or an artificial plant is much harder than you would think with so many great options to choose from. So why do I choose artificial over real? Well the answer is simple, I can't kill them! They stay fresh forever (a little sprinkle of dust just adds to the texture!!), they can easily be moved from…

Cold & snow flurry days are the best days to stay indoors & create to your hearts content. Well thats how I spend my time anyway! I am looking forward to Spring more than ever with this bitter cold Winter outstaying its welcome! This Spring I want to fill the house with potting shed themed decor. Theres something about it that reminds me of a new lease of life & pottering around. I'm thinking aged pots, over worked tools, chippy & stone textures complimented with a backdrop of brilliant white!! So first up on my diy project list is these stone effect pots.

There is something about old books that I love. I don’t know whether its the smell, the history or the story behind them. If I had a spare room in the house I would create a library but instead I have created the next best thing…a wall of words. I’m always looking for unique ideas for our home that are budget friendly & this project definitely ticks all the boxes. I think it’s so important to make a guest room homely & cozy for your guests, a space they feel relaxed in & feel a sense of b&b charm. Originally I wallpapered the top half of this wall with a…

When in lockdown…DIY!!! I have been making the most of this time, getting all the projects off my chest that I have been thinking about for so long. In true Anna style I have lots of unfinished projects going on in the house & now is the time to get my butt into gear & finish them off. Does anyone else start a project then move on to next before finishing the other!!?? (No just me then).
